Blinding

My eyes have slowly begun to change
Fell so cold
Like the first day of winter
Even when I'm sitting still
Trying to feel
The center
Of where we were supposed to be
Based
I'm looking at you
But I'm not seeing the same face
Who are you?
And silence speaks
Only can dispense
The common sense
Of my deepest thoughts
That I'm afraid to know
Wall can only show
The truth
My eyes have begun to change for you
Acuve
Can't change what I see
Contacts won't change me
Or you
What to do
When
I see
Tormented by the vision of you
Seeing flashes
Of all that you do
Losing all of my sight
And my plight
Exists not in my scars
But in the fact that
I'm still fighting to see
Trying to love
Something that can never be
Losing my eyes for you
In silence, speaking so clearly
And yet, I'm still trying to see
