SISTER WHY?

It's been a while since I've last witnessed your smile
The way we used to laugh and conversate
Would always let me know the love I have for you
Would never have an expiration date
You were always happy or so I thought
Until you brought in me a never-ending pain
That now and again turns my summer days into summer rain
Questioning myself how could you die why sister why?

It was like you shared a bond like no other
There is no way I would replace you with a brother
I missed the way we would hug after being away
From one another for long periods of time
The feeling gave great love, but it was then when you left
And went to leave in my heart a painful dent
As I sit here questioning myself how could you die?
Why sister why?
