YOU WERE THERE
You were my one great love....and I'm all the better for knowing
you....when the world turned its back on me....and adversity my
constant companion...you were there....my shoulder to lean on....And,
I'll always love you.
Time may age our bodies.....turn our hair silver gray....and those
friends and family you thought you had....only to find you haven't got
any....and money is not....and death the finale......you were there....my
shoulder to lean on....And, I'll always love you.
Through the good and bad times.....when that silver lining never seem
to appear....and that pot of gold was a distance dream....or just
around the corner....you were there....my shoulder to lean on....And, I'll
always love you....throughout eternity.
