Time Travel

We met at another time in a familiar place
I would never forget your face
Winter turns to spring
And I'm still imagining...you
Do you remember me...
Do you remember me...
Aimlessly I walk the earth waiting For you to appear
Loneliness stroking my ego
Cause I wish to hold you near
As my bare feet hit the pavement
Through the concrete sprouts a rose
Most delicate of creatures
Is you and me I suppose
We reconvene our love affair in the summertime
It's short lived but we give
All of which is ours
Time makes a mockery of you and I
