Good-afternoon Everyone,

I have composed this message for our future consideration … Well it is like this I can NO LONGER afford to single handily support all of my sites… As my traffic has increased on a weekly basis, so have my expenses… Many of you know that I am currently maintaining/updating the following websites:

Mr. Africa Poetry Lounge - This site came online around late 2000… We first started with Angelfire.com free servers… We grew in size/popularity I then took the next step… Mid 2001, I had registered the domain name Ctadams.com and moved my site… It's now being hosted on TheHostingBox servers…( aka… paying for webhosting - monthly basis ) Over the last few years we helped over hundreds of poets, as their dream has come true, just by us posting their work on my poetry sites… Currently we have about 200 poets listed and over 1,750 poems in which you the reader can view… As you may know, this site divided into three sections: Men, Ladies, and Famous Writers Section… Mr. Africa Poetry Lounge averages around 30,000 unique visitors per month… It is nice to know so many poets first got their break here, by me posting their poetry and some went on to publish theirs' first books, for example, JIvory, Frieda Groffy, Janette Franklin, ShyPoet1 and the list goes on…

Ujamaa Christian Poetry - This is our sister site… Please note there are not that many Christian sites online to begin with, and it is even harder to find a poetry site that will post Christian poems… Ujamaa is nearly 3 years old now, as it was my mother's idea to build such a site… By the grace of God, Ujamaa has grown at a tremendous pace and currently there is about 80 poets listed and over 800 poems in which you can check out… Ujamaa also have a prayer forum that one can visit and post prayer request or just post a message and interact with other board members… In addition, Jazzy's Daily Word always updated… Many of you may not know what Ujamaa stands for… Ujamaa is a Swahili word that means brother/sisterhood as many poets from different backgrounds/nationality's have blessed us by submitting some of their poetic spiritual pieces…

Mr. Africa Poetry Board - Still to this day many of visitors get confused as the think/believe that our site and poetry board is the same thing… Both are separate… Our new board has been online for a while… At this time, we have about 300 members and over 80,000 messages posted… Yes, bigger poetry boards are running, but what we lack in size, we make up in love/togetherness, as we are one BIG online poetic family known as the POETRY SQUAD… There is about 30-35 poets that post at least one message on a weekly basis… Then there is my staff, which made up of volunteers, who have taken time out of their busy schedules to assist the board members via the poetry board, as we all are here to help/groom the next generation of poets… Just would like to show some love to the following poets: JIvory, BayBeGirl, Gmorrison, Jaz, Intimacyme, Poetic_Blessing, NettaJack, WindSmokeVapor, Avgblkgirl, Ariono-jovan Labu, etc… With out you the there would be NO poetry board… We thank you for being part of this growing family…

In closing, it would be sad if we have to close shop, but that is a reality... Times are tough, and it is getting harder and harder keeping up with the demands as the Internet Boom continues... Please let us not fall by the waste side and lose what we have already worked towards our real positive goal... In the coming months let us all hope/pray that we are still here, for that is our biggest quest to be a force that we can be proud of, we thank you…
