Days and times where I have to focus
Clear my mind so I sit in meditation
And wrap my head around this situation
Couldn't capture all these memories in a photograph
And I love the way you make me laugh
Which isn't half of what I feel
In these days of love and happiness
I'm excited, yes by you
Ignited, too by you
Invited to come to my senses and realize:
The disguise I've been wearing for so long
Is no longer needed.
I learned how to breathe and own up to my natural skin
Now I grin, because there's so much I know I can offer
Compassion, love, gratification, appreciation
And I don't have to stop if I don't want to,
And I don't wan to stop loving
Somebody like you
I'd have to be crazy
To give up these days of love and happiness
Bliss in a kiss, get lost in a touch
Stuff so good, can't tell which way is up
Or down, I see now
So I just want you to know that
I'm excited by you
Ignited too by you
And have been invited to come to my senses and realize:
That you're better than my past tenses
You set fire to all my senses and
That you leave me defenseless
And I'm loving every minute of it.
