"colors"

closing her eyes tight
dreaming in color again
delighted that her sight
was no longer cloudy
no sad gray smiles
no more one way streets
that went on for miles
warmth of purple gold scarlet
while she rest in her dreams
oh how she could feel it
the sun on her face
with rays shining bright
as she runs this race
never looking back
of what was so old
no presence of love
dark dim and cold
a new vision in place
as she embraces
and loves herself
in her colorful space
