Mother's Day Ham hock Dreams and A Side Order Of Them Peas

Can I reflect a moment on my hopes and dreams,
As I glaze my ham and salt them peas,
Thank you.
I know I have friends and family, but above all, I know,
the Lord understands me..........
because sometimes I want to hang my children on the wall,
like a painting,
and put extra pepper in my husband's supper.
Oh look,
look out the window,
look at them,
my husband and my two children,
playing outside.
I love them so.
They make my heart smile and each day worthy.
Lord, please forgive me.
Is it sympathy I want?
No, just a plate of ham and some of them peas.
