"DON'T CRY FOR ME"

As I lay here "sleep" in my fitted bed,
I'm consumed with all the happy and
free from all the sad.

Free from all the misery that has driven my soul free,
Free from all the negative,
"Don't cry for me."

Free from all the doctor's who wanted to give up on me,
Free from all the pain of needles,
"Don't cry for me."

Free from self-pity, heartache, and pain
God has set my soul free so that I may fly again.

Twelve suffering years,
it's like dying at a slow pace,
don't cry for me family,
for I'm in a better place.

Instead rejoice and up-lift, for today my souls at peace,
bow your precious heads in silence,
but don't you dare "CRY FOR ME...."
