Mr. Africa Poetry Lounge!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
So is Envy.
Upon their return to their village home,
A circle of women gazed and praised
They called tough Sojourner a good mother,
Kind and true, persistent as Elmer's Glue.
Another mother, raged inside.
put such Envy in a cage.
It bends bars.
It must be satisfied.
