PHENOMENAL BROTHA

Some brothas wonder what it is about me
im not rich or hansome and im not on T.V.
if they'd look a little closer
then maybe they'd see
it's the brown of my skin
the pride in my walk
the drive in my win
the suave of my talk
I am a Brotha
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal Brotha
Yeah that's me.

I step on the street
with my swagger and air
and walk by your woman
who can't help but stare
What is it about me
that makes me so rare?

Actually,
It's the strength of arms
The white in my smile
The appeal in my sex
The wit of my guile
I am a Brotha
Phenomenally
Phenomenal Brotha
Yeah, that's me.

Sistas wonder how I do what I do
How I lighten their burden
by changing their mood
What separates me
from them other fools

Actually,
It's the massage of my fingers
The glow in my soul
The presence that lingers
The height of my goals
I am a Brotha
Phenomenally
Phenomenal Brotha
Yeah, that's me.

Now you know why my aura is strong
How the weight of the world
I've carried so long.
With my head held high
keep singing my song
about,
The shine of my laugh
The sweat in my muscle
The World on my back
The style of my hustle

I am a Brotha
Phenomenally
Phenomenal Brotha
Phenomenal me!
