You Take My Breath Away

I find myself smiling inside out
Racing with the slightest wind
Against rosy cheeks that ache

Lost in mellow-dramatic daydreams
Picturing technicolor romance
In the bliss of our adoration

Scenes of tender contentment
Caresses that meekly sweep the heart
Subtle sighs from old love songs

You've always quieted my spirit
Made me lapse between then and now
I'm left flushed in aromatic scents

Pleasure holds out its hand
Anxious to engulf and entrust
As you draw my breath into your soul
