I am Here.

I am the priceless diamond
I am the unmoving mountain
I am the essence of soul
I am the spoken truth untold
...And if you don't recognize my presence,
I am here.

I am the profound poet's thinking
I am the starlit twinkling
I am the African BLACK Queen
I am the red rose that grew from the ghetto's concrete
...And if you don't recognize my presence,
I am here.

I am the sweet smelling bloomed in Spring flower
I am the ubiquitous presence felt power
I am the BLACK smoke (queen) arising towards the blue sky
I am the liberated dove set free to fly
...And if you don't recognize my presence,
I am here.

I am the risen up, high held with BLACK pride fist
I am the nappy hair to comb with your Afro pic
I am the unexplainable, making everybody in the room stare, beauty
I am the craving of your wanting to come true fantasy
...And if you don't recognize my presence,
I am still here.

I am the natural mystic blowing in the air
I am the cacophany and harmony of BLACK voices to hear
I am the roaring lion in Zion
I am the steadfast strength of steele and iron
...And if you don't recognize my presence,
I am still here.

I am the intelligence unfathomed
I am the long-awaited orgasm
I am the rhythm of the blues
I am the BLACK child connected to its roots
...And if you don't recognize
that it is ME
open your eyes
and behold to see,
for I am Here.

I. AM. HERE!
