MAN

Well, today has been a regular, I'm still holding on
Just that I'm filled with curiosity, don't know when I'm going home

I pray that I am chosen to escape multiple years
And return home to my family, unlike some of my peers

Disclaiming the term friend, I predict a future wail
Deadly tears forming a trail because I was surprised with betrayal

Loyalty is extinct, people betray you whenever they want
And for every person who loves you, there are two who don't

I tried praying about it but some will never change
And the power of man alone is driving me insane
