It is the norm

A form to express
Through this text
A rush
Flush
At a particular moment
Chosen
I'm on an island
Dwelling upon a feeling of desolation
Emotions erupt
Abrupt-ly
Hoping by chance
You hear me
Within this space
I perform the chase
Taking you to a dark place
Ending the race
Elevating to a new height
From out of the fog
Into the light...
