Why is it the one you love
Is always the one who doesn't love you back
And the one who loves you back
Is never the one you love
Why is it
When you set your sites for higher
You tend to always
Settle for less than more
Why do we make excuses
By painting pretty pictures
And then deny the truth
Because of how ugly it can be
What was it about her that he chose
When making his decision he didn't
Choose me
