Light depreciates ones efforts to improve

Light views every flaw, making all good
irrelevant.
Light is darkness turned inside out.
Our way becomes a foggy run away maze
in the presence of light.
But when the "Radiance of Darkness" appears,
the vision is cleared, and someone's efforts
are lifted to great prominence.
