Suppose, Suppose

Suppose a mutual love had not
The throws of anguish be my lot.
Night swimming a loveless bed
Pains gnawing within my head.
Suppose a mutual love had not
Aloof a stranger felt forgot.
Not one to love, not one to care
Sitting vacant alone a stare.
Feelings halted all inside
Brimming caldron, bursting wide!
Suppose a mutual love had not
I have a love, I have a love
Hurrah, Hurrah !!
