Shoes

I see your shoes thinking...
One day my feet will fit
there are many things I need to ask you
There are many things i need to say
Where are you
In this regard Mom doesn't know the way
I love her, but she's different from me
She cant teach me to be a man you see
My manhood is your responsibility
what will your legacy be
teach me to walk and stand
father teach me to be a man
please don't leave me to wonder in darkness
I once played in your shoes...my eyes weren't big enough to see you
Now I'm asking for instruction to fill my shoes
love me enough to raise me
I'm basically saying...i need you...
